Software system is an important element to support enterprise high speed development. At mean time, software system stable running need software engineer long term maintenance. Almost all enterprise hired software engineer to develop and maintenance system. So, how to defined software engineer performance is an important task of senior management. And enterprise will benefit a lot from a scientific, fair and high efficient performance system. At present, computer system is the heart of a enterprise, traditional paper work has been replace by computer system, computer system applied on enterprise management improved management efficient, nevertheless, this improvement need a stable and high speed computer to support.In this thesis, the author designed a questionarie "Software developer technical ability KPI questionarie". This questionarie based on software developer special job characteristic, and actual environment of League software company. The target of this questionnaire is to confirm employee satisfied with current performance KPI or not. Analysis the issues that exist in current performance system according to query result. And suggest corrective action to improve performance index, final target is make performance system could truly reflect a software engineer contribution to enterprise. New performance measure system easily operation, deserve spread to other enterprise and field.This thesis mainly include below 4 items:The first, brief introduce study object, target, and method.The second, study related book and literature material, summary software field performance measure theory and method, include domestic and abroad enterprise. The author also analysis domestic software field environment, and job characteristic. At last, the author analyzed key point of software developer performance KPI assessment.The third, take League software company as a typical sample, analyzed current performance assessment method. According to questionnaire result to confirm employee satisfy with current performance assessment method or not, and current performance assessment method could truly reflect employee contribution or not.The forth, according to software develop department current circumstance of League software company, optimize key performance index and assessment process. Improve software develop department performance assessment system, through adjust assessment index to make it more reasonable.
