In the era of knowledge economy, the competition between the enterprises is the competition between talents in essence.The staff with considerable ability in innovation and high work efficiency is precious wealthy of all enterprises.So many enterprises take great importance to the people-oriented in the process of management, that is to say, maintaining a high level of attention to the construction of human resources.Aa an important part of human resource management,performance appraisal management is placed on the background of goals and standards set in advance,using a variety of effective means which can evaluate the performance of employees at all levels reasonably and objectively.Performance appraisal management not only help to fully arouse staffs work enthusiasm and motility but also have great significance in improving enterprise performance and satisfaction of employees.Taking software company A as an example, the subject use the method of literature research,statistics method, interview method and other methods to launch a study on performance appraisal problems about company A’s software developers. Firstly, summarize relevant information of the research,mainly containing the background and significance of the topic,research status at home and abroad,research methods,main content and framework as well as the characteristics.Secondly, summarize the concept of performance appraisal system, mainly including the meaning of performance appraisal system, content, purpose and evaluation procedures.Thirdly,specify the present situation of performance appraisal about Company A’s software developers and describe the general situation of Company A and current situation of performance appraisal and existing problems. Fourthly, analyze the causes of existing problems of Company A’s performance appraisal including the assessment cycle set, the set of assessment index, set of evaluation subject and weights, feedback system and the assessment results using. Fifthly reconstruction of Company A’s performance appraisal system.First to introduce reconstruction principle, then optimize the existing assessment index and use analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to confirm the evaluation weights scientifically assessment weights, finally,reconstruct the evaluation system from the assessment results, evaluation subject, evaluation cycle and evaluation feedback.Sixthly, safeguard measures of the improved scheme.That should pay more attention to security institutions, training before the test and communication after the text, strengthen the guarantee of appraisal system and funds. Finally,summarize the full text and take an outlook for future research.
