On the late 1990 s, the development of the Internet profoundly changed the way people live. According to data provided by the Ministry of Industry and the first quadrant published research data, as of 2014, China’s mobile Internet users reached 875 million, and it will reach 3 billion for the Internet users worldwide. These data suggest that in today’s society the Internet has become a part of people’s lives, the Internet has also become a n unlimited potential financial market.Advent of Internet financing model has profoundly impact on traditional commercial banking business. In the payment business, third-party payment gradually makes it easier to pay online, people then began to rely on third-party payment. On loan services, Internet finance enables the transmission of information, and the development of the network can promote lending, which allows people to stay at home to borrow funds needed, lenders also changed from a traditional commercial bank into a network platform. O n the wealth management business, the role of the Internet finance enables the financial products to reduce costs, and then it can introduce various high- yield financial products. All above mentioned make the commercial banks to divert a portion of the customer. In addition, the Internet finance services form competition in many aspects of traditional commercial banks. Faced with the impact of the financial model of the Internet, traditional commercial banks can not stay in a rut, it should learn from each other, grow and develop.Internet not only makes financial development of C hina’s commercial banks face competition, but also for foreign commercial banks. Since the 1990 s, the rapid development of internet companies expand their business into the financial sector, and has formed online banking. Foreign commercial banks recognize the advantages of the Internet, and began to actively use this new model to grow their business. They actively expand new areas of business, the business tentacles extend to all aspects of life. In the new situation, our traditional commercial banks not only have to develop the old business, but also to actively develop new business, making the commercial banks to obtain new vitality. Commercial banks can expand their business into all aspects of life, such as water and electricity units, making the payment of various fees the bank customers may encounter in life.Studying the impacts of the Internet on commercial banks, and learning the experience of foreign commercial banks, by using comparative methods and case analysis method, the point is to analyze the development strategy for China’s traditional commercial banking. In the future, our banks will build more advanced network platforms.
