Research On The Tourism Industry Cluster Competitiveness In Anhui Province

Industrial clusters which appeared in the manufacturing industry and high-tech industries firstly, improved their competitiveness effectively. In recent years, with the development of economy and the adjustment of industrial structure, the tourism industry has gradually appeared the cluster trend. Many world’s tourism destinations promote the development of tourism industry by integrating tourism resources, coordinating competition and cooperation among tourism enterprises under the tourism industry cluster policy. Anhui is a big tourist province which has rich tourism resources, but compared with the surrounding provinces, the development of the tourism industry did not achieve the desired results. There is guiding significance to put the industrial cluster theory into the study of tourism development, which could help Anhui province realize the transition from a big tourist province into a strong tourist province. Based on this background, the study of Anhui tourism competitiveness on industrial cluster theory will provide a new perspective to the development of the tourism industry in Anhui province.Firstly, based on the deep research on the related literature at home and abroad and the characteristics of tourism industry in Anhui province, the definition of the tourism industry cluster was made, which was explained by the transaction cost, synergistic effect, and the external economic theory. Secondly, empirical research was made on the development of the tourism industry cluster in Anhui province, which in-depth analysis of the current situation and problems from different angles. Aiming at the problems, on the basis of the relevant literature, constructing the evaluation system of tourism industry cluster competitiveness, and the competitiveness evaluation system are briefly described. Then by using the method of factor analysis through the SPSS software, the cities of Anhui province were ranked according to the competitive score, and the cities were divided into three categories in accordance with rank. Finally, from the individual and the general point of view respectively, reference on improving the tourism industry cluster competitiveness of Anhui province was provided.
