| In recent years, as the national 12 th Five-Year Plan to develop supporting indu stries, special steel enterprises in China is facing unprecedented development opport unities, rare however, trends in the global economy integration and market of today,the rapid development of the steel industry is also facing huge competition pressure and challenges: the low-end products, the homogenization of serious, lower profit margins, have a certain gap with the world first-class enterprise. In order to enhane the competitiveness of enterprises and market share, the special steel enterprises nee d to bold innovation in the aspects of the product, technology, services, and activel y implement the differentiation strategy, in order to play a reference role for the re alization of the sustainable development of steel industry.This paper took the differentiation strategy theory as the foundation, using the research method of literature research, investigation, summarized method and case a nalysis method to study the strategy of SDXW Special Steel Co., Ltd. difference. F irstly introduces the research background, significance, briefly introduces the present situation of the domestic and foreign research, of the content, ideas and research m ethods adopted are described; secondly, expound in detail the competitive strategy a nd the theory of differentiation strategy, PEST analysis, five competitiveness model and SWOT analysis tools of strategic analysis; again, through the operation situatio n and development environment investigation SDXW special steel company at prese nt, in-depth analysis of the external strategic environment of the macro environment,industry environment, the company faced competition environment, market environm ent and the existing strategic resources, core competence and so on internal strategi c resources, SWOT analysis was carried out through the development of SDXW sp ecial steel Co., Ltd., strategic objectives of the company combined with the technol ogy, from product differentiation, differentiation, service differentiation, market differ entiation, the difference between enterprise culture construction company difference competition model; finally, make the difference strategy suitable for the long-term d evelopment of SDXW Special Steel Co. Ltd. and the implementation of security me asures of the differentiation strategy. In this paper, from the differences of develop ment point of view, to provide a reference to the management idea for special stee l enterprise development strategy.The results indicate that the current special steel enterprises are facing serious internal and external environment, it should be under the new situation of clear and organize the implementation of enterprise strategy.
