Study On Occupation Selection Process Of The Peasants After Landless’ Urbanization

Nowadays, China with a rapidly developing economy, is also confronted with the issue of farmers losing their land in the quick integration of town and country. This issue now is not only a problem holding up urbanization and social stability, but also a leading question to a more serious, real problem:how to help those farmers who lost their land long time ago get employed.This paper,based on The method literature, questionnaire and interviews, focuses on the theories of social exclusion and occupation choice. It describes and studies the re-employment situation of the peasants after landless, discusses the different barriers and difficulties these farmers have to deal with in choosing thier jobs, and then analyses what kind of impacts the peasants after landless meet in aquiring their new jobs and staus.This paper first introduces the backgrounds, purpose, value, international and domestic theories and practice of the research; then it explains the related theories used and defines what the "the peasants after landless" and "profession-choosing" mentioned in the paper are; after that, the author shows the studies of the the peasants after landless’lives in the countryside of City C, these studies include the current progress of urbanization of City C, the current situation of local the peasants after landless; then research is carried out to analyse the barriers these farmers are confronted with in profession-choosing; in the end, there will be a general conclusion to refines the main ideas of the paper and offer advice on how to respond to the barriers for the peasants after landless.
