Tourism as a "sunrise industry", has been rapid development in the global scope. Tourism is a strong degree of association industry, radiation driven industry greatly. The development of tourism can increase revenue, provide jobs, promote regional cooperation, optimize the industrial structure. Therefore, the development of the tourism industry will bring great economic, cultural and social benefits.In this era, the importance of innovation for the service sector continued to strengthen, the lack of innovative services will gradually be replaced. As the main force of tourism service industry, must be in the development of innovation. Research of Guilin tourism industry upgrading and innovation, not only to speed up the construction of international tourist destination of Guilin, but also on China’s tourism industry to the overall reform and development play a role. To explore the innovation of Guilin tourism product upgrading, to solve the facing Guilin has practical significance, and provides a reference model for the development of tourism.Overall the research.First of all, taking Guilin as an example, combined with the characteristics of tourism development,then divided tourism products into three times, and summarizes the features of each era, understanding of the development of Guilin tourism products, for the latter part of the study of the foundation. Secondly, the article detailed analysis of the current situation of the development of Guilin tourism products, tourist market, tourist satisfaction and so on, on the basis of the diagnosis of existing problems of Guilin tourism products. Then, find the path and means of Guilin tourism product innovation based on problem analysis.Through the research, this paper think the Guilin tourism product for generational change is the inevitable product of the development of tourism, tourism product of generational change is a slow transition process, each stage of mutual penetration, and innovation of Guilin tourism products should change the idea of innovation from the value, function, space, pattern, image.
