Along with the increasing China’s sustained and rapid economic development and people’s living standard, people’s demand for tourism is booming.The "suggestions of promoting tourism industry" issued by the State Council in2009marks the Chinese tourism entering into National Strategy System; the12th five-year plan of national tourism has put forward clearly raising our tourism into a strategic core industry of national economy development. Therefore, the tourism industry of china is booming and thriving under this background. The tourism industry in Guilin as one of the earliest cities opening-up to the outside world in China which owes a great deal of resources has developed quickly. In2012, Guilin, received a formal approval of "the outline of the contraction and development of Guilin international tourism",has become the first city-international-tourism-resort by national construction. It marks the construction of international tourism resort in Guilin has ranked formally as a national key strategy. What’s more, it can provide the tourism in Guilin many excellent opportunities. However, with the rapid development in and out abroad, there are also competitions which should be confronted. Owing to tourism as a kind of labor-intensive industry, the essence of competition in modern tourism is actually some competition in talent of tourism enterprises. Tourism enterprise, as the principal part in the development of tourism to a certain region, is regarded as a core to promote its tourism. At present, numbers of enterprises, with different types, are all maintaining a sound momentum by reasonable cooperation during cities. Nevertheless, located in the western China, Guilin, with its shortage and lagging management of human resource, has been restricted seriously. To conclude, the study on human resource of tourism enterprise in Guilin has a great significance. Given this, combined with the practice, this paper mainly analyzes the existing problems about human resource management of tourism enterprise in Guilin and proposes appropriate countermeasures and suggestions. In the first place, by theoretical research and by the methods of gathering literature, in-depth individual interview and questionnaire investigation, this paper analyses the current situation of tourism enterprise human resource. In the second place, it researches deeply the following aspects:untimely concepts on modem human resource management; The structure of human resources is not reasonable; lack of plan in human resource strategy; Human resources recruitment system is not standardized; The human resource training system is not perfect; unscientific and non-objective performance appraisal system; unfair and unreasonable salary system; deficiency of stuff career designing. Last but not least, according to these existing problems, this article poses the problems of human resource management which should be resolved in Guilin tourism enterprise, and they need to:innovation human resources management idea innovation; Strengthen human resource strategic planning; sound recruitment of human resource, perfect effective training system, optimize performance appraisal system, establish fair and reasonable salary management system; lead employees to design stuff career, and thus can promote a more prosperous future of tourism enterprise in Guilin.
