At present, with the fast development of our country’s economy and internet technology by leaps and bounds, banking industry is facing multiple pressures such as interest rate marketization, financial disintermediation and internet financial impact, so the business model has to accelerate the transformation. With its characteristics of lightsome branches, in-depth market and closing to the customers, community branch gradually becomes a way to cope with the impact banking chosen by banking industry. At the end of 2014, community branches of CMBC (including fully functional self-help bank) reached to a number of 4902, in which,743 of them are allowed to be listed. The number of allowed listed community branches of Everbright Bank and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank are respectively 481 and 300. The community branches develop fast like mushrooms after rain in our country. At the time of fast development of community branches in our country, a number of community branches began to have profit problems. Although community branches in our country are constantly looking for innovative way, they always unable to form their own core competitiveness and the business development patterns are gradually getting into a plight. In this paper, based on the summarizing and analyzing existing problems of on the basis of community branches in our country, correct development direction of community branches are explored. Development strategies of community branches are put forward, such as branch layout, business expansion, branch building, community cooperation, customer segmentation and external environment perfection. It is hoped that it can play a model role for banks transformation and development of community branches in our country, thus really promoting the sustained and healthy development of community branches in our country.
