The study of emotional intelligence in the international have gained great achievements, but the emotional intelligence of the background is waiting for further research. This research collects data by questionnaires from managers in Vientiane, Lang Brabant other 3 provinces.This paper used exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, regression analysis and variance analysis to explore the research, construction and validation of Laos managers’ emotional intelligence structure model, and explore its effect on the employee’s performance. It found those results.1. Emotional intelligence of Laos managers is a four-dimension structure model which include Emotional perception, Use of emotion, Emotion regulation, Dilemma.Compared with the China managers’ emotional intelligence content structure, there are 2 factors that are the same, namely, interpersonal sensitivity and emotion regulation; two factors are different, the managers’ emotional intelligence factor is the use of emotion and distress, Chinese manager’s emotional intelligence factor is the work of intelligence and relationship.2.Emotional intelligence of Laos managers are different in different in differnet demographic characteristics:Different gender of managers have no significant difference; the age has significant impact on emotional intelligence; different working years had an effect on emotional intelligence; academic level will significantly influence the emotional intelligence of management, management level have no significant difference on emotional intelligence.3.Emotional intelligence of Laos managers also has positive effect on their job performance, emotional intelligence of high level managers are better to understand the emotion, to adapt to the situation of the motivation, this to the emotional state is beneficial to the trust and cooperation between managers and employees, to improve the innovation activities,and to promote job performance level.
