Study On Problems And Countermeasures Of Agricultural Bank Of China Suzhou Branch

As the the transformation and upgrading of both foreign and internal trade in China, trade finance has been paid more and more attention by Chinese commercial banks. In recent years, with the development of foreign and internal trade in Suzhou, famous of its export-oriented economy, the business of trade finance in Agricultural Bank of China, Suzhou Branch(ABC Suzhou) has achieved considerable success but yet will face new challenges and opportunities. How to improve the trade finance business in ABC Suzhou is to be discussed in this article.This paper is guided by the theories related to financial management and adopts the method of case study. It firstly analyzes the current situation of trade finance business in ABC Suzhou by its customers and products and points out the problems are weak customer base, single product structure, inadequate professionals and etc. The main reasons are short of understanding, innovation, training and internal support. In order to improve trade finance business in ABC Suzhou, advanced measures has been discussed including to improve innovation administration patterns, speed up the innovation of chain financing, adjust department setup, inspire the professionals, consummate credit management and explore the RMB trace finance opportunities by RMB internationalization. It is also stated that ABC Suzhou should provide safeguards for the measures above mentioned including policy, fund, organization, mechanism and so on.
