With the accelerated pace of reform and opening up, especially after joining the WTO, enterprises have undergone constant development based on subsidiaries at home and abroad with an increasing number of division, regional and functional management enterprises existing at the same time, and Nantong Construction Engineering Company Co., Ltd. is one among them. Some of the advanced enterprise management system has been introduced into domestic enterprises, an increasing number of large-scale engineering construction enterprises are confronted with new management problems constant expansion and regional expansion have brought about due to an increasing number of projects. As a result, the difficulty and complexity of construction enterprise management has greatly increased. In this case, how to establish an reasonable multi-project management process to achieve effective management of multiple projects in the same period has become an urgent problem for construction enterprises to solve. In this paper, the author takes Nantong Construction Engineering Contracting Co. Ltd as an example to focus on analyzing strategic control, and gives an explanation of the importance of large enterprises’ strategic control and describe the definition, characteristics, content, effect, and the implementation process of strategic control in detail. And it also analyzes several aspects of control to ensure strategic goals to be realized according to the Nantong construction general contracting company’s actual situation. The aspects including personnel management, financial management, materials management, subcontracting management, cost management, management of migrant workers, business-undertaking management, project’s material management, schedule, quality and technical field management, corporate culture construction management, standardization construction, executive ability construction and aspects of party A’s maintenance and management are analyzed, and information management in building field is given a related description which applies information platform, financial data, management system, the rule of law and corporate governance and other control tools to specific management matters. This paper makes a detailed analysis and discussion about most contents that construction enterprises may be involved in, which has some instruction function.
