With the development of market economy, the prediction based on the traditional mode of production cannot meet the rapidly changing business and market. To meet these requirements, a new production way generated, resulting in the actual needs-based, demand-based, reactive way, such as in the automotive industry in the universal application of JIT production. Changes in the mode of production in the supply chain and logistics management in the enterprise management has gradually improved, businesses need to be addressed are becoming complicated. Specifically in warehouse management, in order to meet regulatory requirements, companies have to give up their older management, alternative to the information of the warehouse management system to cover for the shortage of ERP and other systems. In this paper, we use an auto parts manufacturer as example, focusing on analysis of current business in the supply chain and warehouse management in the face of problems and causes of the problem. In order to better solve the problem, we analyzed the characteristics of the automobile manufacturing industry and the status of the company. Base on the analysis above, we propose information-based warehouse management system solutions, from design to implementation processes to help companies manage to change the current status quo.In order to achieve better management of results, we introduce the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology and traditional bar code recognition technology. Specifically, we do not blindly pursue the overall RFID technology, but from the perspective of cost-effective RFID and barcode technology gives the combined program in order to maximize business efficiency. The traditional researches focus on the system design and development. While we want to do more in the perspective of business management, and find why we need this system, which can solve the problem for the enterprise, and make the overall feasibility analysis. About the handling of issues, the paper emphasizes two aspects from the management and systems. This design of the system have been in a successful on-line auto parts manufacturing company, and run so far. The company gets good management and economic benefits. This case shows that the introduction of RFID technology, warehouse management system, better able to fulfill the business management requirements, worthy of further research and extension.
