CEO surveys in recent years indicate that CEO flowing rate among enterprises in the same industry has showed a gradually increasing state. While the theoretical explanation of the phenomenon is,management knowledge resources mastered by top executive have great rent creation abilities, which become the fundamental cause of organizational competitive difference, meanwhile top executive turnover is an important mechanism of management knowledge resources transfer across enterprises. Having teased apart literature in knowledge transfer research field, the exploring about knowledge sharing or transfer among employees within the organization/enterprise possesses the main position of existing achievements, but less researches on the mechanism of top executive’s individual characteristics(such as leadership style, communication ability) affecting knowledge resources transfer across organizational boundaries.Based on the perspective of knowledge transfer, this paper, through ERP simulation experiment, explored the relationship of new CEO’s leadership style, communication ability, and the effects ofmanagement knowledge transfer under the context of top executive turnover. This study selected 300 undergraduate students with business subject background, tested the research hypothesis through the analysis of variance, linear regression model analysis method with SPSS19.0 as the statistical software tool. The results shows that leadership style, as well CEO’s communication ability, influences significantly the effects of management knowledge resources transfer, and contrasting to task-motivated leadership style, relationship-motivated leadership style is more advantageous to transfer CEO’s knowledge across enterprises. Moreover, we found that, through reducing the influences of leadership style, CEO’s communication ability plays a more key role in management knowledge resources transfer across enterprises. This paper is divided into six parts. The first part introduced the research background, the study goal and significance, as well as the overall arrangement such as the research methods and the technical route. The second part conducted literature review, commented and summarized the research status of leadership style, communication ability and knowledge resources transfer across enterprises both at home and abroad. The third part put forwarded the hypothesis to be test and theoretical model of this paper through discussing the relationship among leadership style, communication ability and the effects of management knowledge transfer. The fourth part The fourth partexplained the research method selection, experimental design, statistical description, variable measurement, reliability and validity test. The fifth part showed the results of variance analysis, linear regression model hypothesis testing. In the final part, the conclusions were summarized and relevant management ways were brought forth. Some advice was given for future research to avoid the limitation.
