After continuous expansion of production capacity of seamless pipe, Chinese seamless manufacturing enterprises face both the limited domestic market and the market with supply much far exceeding the demand. As a result, they have to explore abroad and expand the international market. Especially after global financial crisis in 2008 and sub-prime crisis, great changes have taken place in the export environment of seamless pipes, facing current unpredictable international market, versatile strategic issues stand in front of each enterprise, such as how to break through into the market, market positioning, arrangement in international market, etc. Therefore, export strategic research has become one important subject for seamless pipe enterprises. This thesis regards Hengyang Valin Steel Tube Co., Ltd.(abbreviated as HYST hereinafter) as the research subject. Its export strategies are analyzed in the following parts.Combining the actual situations in this research, Part one carries out the analysis of the research subject, background and senses, review of development of company strategic management theory as well as analysis and description of current research status related to enterprise strategic management to lay theoretic foundation for consequential research. Part two primarily deals with the introduction of basic information related to Hengyang Valin Steel Tube Co., Ltd., summary of its relevant successful experience in the past and analysis of its disadvantages. In addition, it applies SWOT approach to analyze its advantages and disadvantages in internal and external environments according to current integral competitive environmental changes to perform detailed analysis. Part three outlines the export development strategy for HYST in the future to make HYST export business development positioning and competition strategy further clear. Against the stipulated HYST export strategy, Part four stipulates the specific implementation plan and proposes the related guarantee measures.As described above, this thesis surrounds the detailed strategic development strategies for the export trading development of Hengyang Valin Steel Tube Co., Ltd. to analyze the current status, find out disadvantages, establish objective, determine implementation plans and propose references for the continuous and stable export business development of Hengyang Valin Steel Tube Co., Ltd.
