The Problems And Countermeasures Of Dairy Cooperatives Based Upon The Dairy Farmers’ Benefit

Dairy is an important means to promote the regional economic and increase farmers’ income which has take a lot of attention of the government. The natural resources in Inner Mongolia region are benefit for the development of dairy industry. In recent years, in the background that the organization model of dairy industry has been improved and innovated, establish the dairy cooperatives make it possibility to promote the industrialization process of raw milk.Establish the dairy cooperatives is a long-term and arduous task. The dairy industry development of Hohhot plays a very important role in Inner Mongolia area. This paper through the investigation and theoretical research analysis ten dairy cooperatives and one hundred and three dairy farmers in cooperatives deeply. Specific through the farming operation to analysis the current production situation of dairy cooperatives and the lives situation of the dairy farmers in cooperatives. Under the preliminary field research, it’s not difficult to find that there are many problems at this stage in dairy cooperative of Hohhot. For example, in the process of the raw milk purchase, the milk price-maker is still the dairy companies, the dairy farmers after adding the dairy cooperative didn’t get the equal right to decide the milk price, the passive and vulnerable position haven’t been alleviated. This paper attempts to draw on the experience of the parties, propose appropriate measures to optimize the model of the dairy cooperative and to protect the interests of dairy farmers. At the same time, this measures can also make the role of dairy cooperative play fully, mobilize the enthusiasm of farmers to guarantee the dairy can development stablely and healthy.
