Research On The Grain Production Distribution Based On Differences Of Production Cost Among Regions

China is a large agricultural country, and food problem is always the biggest one. Explore the reasons of different regional changes of grain production layout, to establish reasonable grain production decision, has important meaning to guarantee the security of grain. This paper took the Jiangsu Province as the research object, for it had the high speed development of economy and the significant difference of regional grain production. The method was statistical analysis and empirical analysis, mainly discussed the relationship between differences of regional production cost and the changes of production layout, in the same time discussed the factors that cause the distinctive of regional production cost. Finally the passage put forward the relevant policy suggestions.Firstly, this article elaborated the background of this paper, research purpose and significance, literature review at domestic and abroad, technical route and the main research contents, then elaborated the related theory of the grain production cost, the performance of the differences, the performance of the production distribution, the reasons lead to the differences of those areas production cost. This article found that in regional food production cost, southern, middle and north region in Jiangsu Province had obvious differences, in the layout changes of grain production, the southern, middle and north had presented different characteristics in the area sown, grain output and the yield per acre. This paper argued that food production layout changes mainly affected by the cost and other factors, cost impact on food production layout change mainly based on input and output principle, as well as the principle of comparative advantage, while the other factors reflected the differences in opportunity cost, thus affecting regional comparative advantage of grain production, which affect the layout changes of grain productionSecondly this paper mainly studied the reasons lead to the differences of those areas’production cost with regression model. The model chose the seed price, fertilizer price, the labor price and planting area, subsidy per acre as the independent variables, the production per acre as the explained variable. It turned out that the reasons lead to the differences of different areas production cost were not the same. Then the article studied the effect of differences of those areas’production cost to grain production layout by using Cobb-Dauglas function. It turned out that the grain production costs did cause the change of grain production layout, but different varieties of grain production cost had different impact, at the same time, the changes of grain production layout also affected by factors other than cost.Finally, this article put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions aimed at improving grain production of different areas.
