Analysis On The Cost And Benefit Of Rice Production In Hunan At The Present Stage

In order to improve the efficiency of rice production, raise grain yield and rice-farmer’s income, ensure the grain production security of China. This paper uses the survey analysis, comparative analysis, empirical analysis and system analysis method, Hunan several different rice cultivation methods on rice production efficiency was studied, the main results are as follows:1. The average cost of traditional manual mode of production of single-cropping rice is RMB1287.7 Yuan/mu and that of the fully-mechanized mode of production is RMB 1135.1 Yuan/mu; the cost of labor costs accounts for 70% and 34% of the total cost; the seed cost of fully-mechanized mode of production is higher than that of the traditional manual mode of production;2. The average income of the early-season, middle-season and late rice is RMB 1058.67 Yuan/mu, RMB 1280.1 Yuan/mu and RMB 1185.89 Yuan/mu respectively; the average income of single-cropping rice is RMB 1174.89 Yuan/mu; the government subsidies to single-cropping rice production and double cropping rice is RMB 109.1 Yuan/mu and RMB 189.1 Yuan/mu respectively;3. In the traditional manual mode of production, the cost of field management and harvest link occupies the largest proportion, reaching 30% and 20% respectively; in the fully-mechanized mode of production, the cost of field management and raising seedling occupies the largest proportion, reaching 34% and 31% respectively. There are significant difference in the total cost between different counties and cities; the cost difference of traditional manual mode of production and the fully-mechanized mode of production reaches RMB 308 Yuan and RMB 86 Yuan respectively;4. As for employees’traditional artificial rice production, the net income of early-season rice and double-cropping rice is RMB-123.83 Yuan/mu and RMB-149.6 Yuan/mu respectively; the net income of middle-season rice and late rice is RMB 97.59 Yuan/mu and RMB 3.39 Yuan/mu respectively. As for the fully-mechanized rice production, the net income of early-season, middle-season and late rice and double-cropping rice is RMB 67.17 Yuan/mu, RMB 288.59 Yuan/mu, RMB 288.59 Yuan/mu and 232 Yuan/mu respectively.5.When the rice farmers autonomously conduct traditional manual rice production, the net income of early-season, middle-season and late rice and double-cropping rice is RMB 997.59 Yuan/mu, RMB 776.17 Yuan/mu, RMB 903.39 Yuan/mu and RMB 1650 Yuan/mu respectively; when the rice farmers independently lease agricultural machinery for fully-mechanized production, the net income of early-season, middle-season and late rice and double-cropping rice is RMB 367.17 Yuan/mu, RMB 494.39 Yuan/mu, RMB 588.59 Yuan/mu, and RMB 832 Yuan/mu respectively.
