With the strengthening of environmental protection awareness, the requirements on low-carbon energy saving performance are also higher for people, in order to meet the market demand, the low carbon design methods which based on low energy consumption, low pollution have been the focus of research at home and abroad. Products low carbon design is a complex design process under multiple constraints, this paper starts from the low-carbon demand analysis, analysis of constraints in the low carbon design of the products, and gives the product carbon footprint and cost quantification methods, multidimensional extension functions build methods, extension classifier construction methods which based on the full life-cycle. Finally, based on the above methods, the low carbon design extension classification system of large screw air compressor has been developed. The main research contents are as follows:1. First, analysis of the demand for products low carbon design and determine carbon footprint, cost and its basic performances as constraints indicators of low carbon design, given its quantitative analysis methods; then combining the method of module partition and module contains relations, and constructing the products case base which contain product performance data that can be added to modify.2. The paper presents a case base retrieval technology which based on extension dependence function. Construct multidimensional extension dependent function, and analyzing dimensionality process to the multidimensional extension dependent function. Combine with low carbon design case base, constructing the dependent functions of various performances which based on customer demands. According to the multi-demand performance constraints in product low carbon design, the product low carbon design case base retrieval rules of multi-demand performance coupling has been put forward, which provides a theoretical support for the classification of the product low carbon design case base search result.3. Building extension knowledge classifier which is applicable to low carbon design. Through analyzing the extension classification process, mining the nature of extension classification, presenting the method of extension static classification which based on the multidimensional dependent function and BP neural network, In view of the demand change, build extension dependent function, constructing extension knowledge classifiert on this basis, putting forward the extension classifier algorithm which applicable to low carbon design. 4. According to the theory technology method and instance analysis process of this paper, the low carbon design extension classification system of large screw air compressor has been developed, preliminary verified the1feasibility of the theoretical method.
