Food is the material basis for human survival and development, and is one of the people’s livelihood industry in china. With the rapid development of our economy, food enterprises grow sturdily and the kind of food is becoming diverse. But at the same time, some enterprises ignore the laws and regulations, and ignores the issue of food safety, then food safety issues have emerged. The food security problem not only affects the health of consumers, but also brings huge losses to the enterprises. And sometimes some of the food crisis events lead to the reputation crisis and even lead to the business failures. In recent years, more and more enterprises realize that enterprise reputation plays an important role in the business activities. In this context, this paper tries to analyze the major factors influencing the food enterprise reputation crisis and quantitatively evaluate reputation crisis factors, then provides the division of reputation crisis level, and puts forward the suggestion and countermeasure to improve the food industry of reputation crisis management.Chapter1introduces the research background, research significance and research method. Chapter2makes literature review of food industry, crisis management, enterprise reputation and some other important concepts. Chapter3finds out the five sources of enterprise reputation crisis for food industry in China. Chapter4analyzes the five sources of enterprise reputation crisis one by one. Chapter5quantitatively evaluates reputation crisis factors based on the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) theory, provides the division of reputation crisis level. Chapter6puts forward the suggestion and countermeasure to improve the food industry of reputation crisis management. To further verify the effectiveness of the model, chapter7chooses H food limited company as the object and gives a empirical analysis to demonstrate the index system is reasonable.In a word, this paper tries to find the major factors of enterprise reputation crisis and then quantitatively evaluate reputation crisis factors. Then provides the division of reputation crisis level, and puts forward the suggestions. These are, to a certain degree, of significance in food reputation crisis management.
