In order to understanding the subjective well-being of employee of state-ownedenterprise in Jiangxi province, and its influencing factor.500employees wereselected and surveyed using “comprehensive happiness questionnaire”, and20ofthem were selected for open-ended interviews. The following conclusions wereobtained after investigation:1.Through investigation of the self-report inventory, it was found that factorssuch as working hours, position level, average monthly earnings, and familyatmosphere have a significant influence on the subjective well-being of employee,while sex has no significant influence on subjective well-being.“comprehensivehappiness questionnaire” can be used as a tool for measuring well-being ofemployee in state-owned enterprise of Jiangxi province. Leaders in this enterprise canunderstand the well-being state of empolyee by using the results, which will helptheir management.2.Through the open-ended interviews, factors such as physical quality, financialsituation, family relationships, social capital, living security, and self-actualizationinfluenced the subjective well-being of employee, which was agreed with the resultsof self-report inventory.3.Suggestions were proposed to contracture new era of happy state-ownedenterprise. This system mainly focused on the establishment of a fair and reasonablepayment system. While other supplementary suggestions were also given such aspaying more attention on happiness of employee, improving social security, buildingnice interaction atmosphere between enterprise and family, helping the staff toimprove their self-value, paying attention to health quality of employee.
