Along with the development of the economy, the competition is increasingly vigorous among the state-owned enterprises, foreign-owned enterprises, joint-stock companies and private companies. State-owned enterprises are the pillar of China’s economy. Every enterprise should be vitally concerned about the quality of its staff since it matters the international competitiveness of the state-owned enterprises. Thomas Peters, who is a famous scholar, said:"The only real resource is human for business.". So, Enterprise training is the key factor that determines the level of its human resources development. The company and all the staff will be developed steadily if we can establish the well-designed training needs system. And state-owned enterprises are no exception. This requires state-owned enterprises make the overall development and the optimization allocation of human resource. Training is the basic form and also the key factor of human resource development.The staff will continuously update their knowledge, renew the idea to ahead of the new technological revolution. So paying more attention to the training is the key to the companies remaining unconquerable in the fierce market competitions. But they show unsympathetic to the training in China’s companies, especially the state-owned ones. This makes us worry about the prospects for the development of Chinese companies. Nowadays, the training in the companies is immature. There remains much to be done.This paper starts with the relevant theories of training and chooses the D Company of Zhongping Energy and Chemical Corporation which is the state-owned enterprise as the subject. Then, it goes on to give a general introduction to D Company and its current situation of its staff training based on the statics. Through the analysis, the paper points out the problems of the training system and raise the suggestion and advise to try to design a new training system. It tries to create effective mechanisms for the talent in order to realize the rapid development of the corporation. D Company is a representative sample to some extent in the mechanical industry. I sincerely hope this paper can not only solve some practical problems, but also make some contributions to the staff training in the domestic mechanical industries.
