Anhui Meteorological Index Insurance Research

Agricultural risk has been a major problem in agricultural develop-ment, which requires a sound risk guarantee to make up for the loss of natural disasters. But the traditional mode of agricultural insurance in practice has a number of defects, which makes the government financial burden heavier and heavier. So the research on the new mode of agricul-tural weather index insurance is imminent. This paper chooses the main winter wheat crop which is underwritinged by Guoyuan agricultural insurance in Changfeng County of Anhui Province as the research object, respectively with growth and meteorological data of crop, adopts the insurance risk theory, analyzes the risks of winter wheat growth. On the basis of the linear regression model, collate and stipulate the premium rates, finally design Claims Rules of agricultural weather index insurance.
