Carbon productivity is measured on the level of GDP output unit corresponding to the carbon dioxide emissions, and carbon dioxide emissions per unit epitomizes the economic benefits. With the acceleration of the process of climate negotiations, Borne by developing countries to reduce emissions, emission limitation is increasing. The Chinese government has put tackling climate change, greenhouse gas emissions as one of the major economic and social development strategy. In this context, the study of carbon productivity——especially the study of its determination and influence factors is particularly important. However, the current method of choice for determination of carbon hasnot produced enough rigor and scientific, failed to fully consider the characteristics of carbon productivity, often makes carbon productivity measurement results obtained can not objectively reflect reality. On the research perspective, most scholars just one-sided from the national level to study the carbon productivity, failed to go deep into the provincial and regional levels to analyze development trends and the spatial and temporal characteristics of carbon productivity. Meanwhile, carbon productivity factors inquiry, also failed to comprehensively and systematically analyze the impact of carbon-related factors on productivity. More importantly, there has not been carried out carbon productivity of agricultural literature. As China’s largest industry, agriculture source of carbon emissions is more complex and diverse, carbon productivity of agriculture is an important part of our carbon productivity, it changes the overall level of China’s carbon productivity will have an enormous impact. Therefore, measuring the productivity of the agricultural carbon and analysising their impact factors are very important.Based on this, firstly the concept and characteristics of carbon productivity were parsed, the production rates of the most commonly used method--SFA and DEA were analyzed and compared. Furthermore, I construct a calculation model of carbon productivity of agriculture according to the DEA CCR and the BBC model. And based on "national-regional-provincial" three levels,"Time-Space" two-way dimension, I measure and analysize carbon productivity of agriculture more comprehensively. The results showed that:the overall level of China’s agricultural productivity is low in the national level, and the growth rate between2000-2012is more slowly, provincial and regional levels of carbon productivity of agriculture presents "west to east" phenomenon. To further explore the depth of agricultural carbon productivity factors, we selected the per capita gross agricultural machinery, the proportion of agricultural technicians, growing proportion of the industry, per capita arable land, high school or higher proportion of producers, the per capita investment in fixed assets in rural areas, per capita agricultural GDP seven indicators, and using Tobit regression model to study the impact factors of China’s three major areas of agricultural carbon productivity. Conclusions show:per capita gross agricultural machinery, arable land per capita, per capita investment in fixed assets in rural areas, per capita agricultural GDP on agricultural carbon productivity of the three regions have a greater impact, and the impact direction are positive, the remaining three indicators less impact on agricultural carbon productivity, which affect the direction of planting proportion of negative. Based on this, we give the corresponding policy recommendations.
