Low-Carbon Agriculture is a revolution of agricultural production responding to global climate changes, and is also a new mode as well as an innovation for developing ecological and circular agriculture. Recent years, many scholars, both at home and abroad, have began to focus on the development of low-carbon agriculture, and contributed some theoretical and practical researches, which are conducive for the government to reasonably plan and forecast the low-carbon agriculture, and which can provide theoretical guidance as well as practical support for relevant policies, regulations and production practices, with great theoretical value and realistic significance.Academic research on low carbon agriculture in China, mainly concentrated in the low carbon development mode of agriculture, technology system, policy system, evaluation system, the local instance of foreign academic; low carbon agriculture, mainly concentrated in the agricultural carbon emissions, emission reduction technology and research of low carbon agricultural policy research, study on carbon trade etc. hand. According to many experts and scholars in the field of ecological agriculture in the theoretical research, this paper will be the development of Yongjia County Agricultural carbon sequestration and emission reduction as the starting point, and further elaborates the concept, low carbon agriculture exploration carbon impact on agricultural production, so as to suit one’s measures to local conditions to put forward low carbon production and relevant countermeasures. The research results are as follows:(1) Form the basis of Yongjia county to develop low carbon agricultural production through the analysis:the geomorphological features, Yongjia county’s geographical environment, climatic condition, obtains the Yongjia County for the development of low carbon agriculture advantage; on the other hand, further analyzes the current development status of Yongjia County agricultural economy, it restricts the environmental resources are limited, low carbon technology not enough, small-scale peasant economy, has become the hindrance of low carbon production inferior.(2) Carbon emission and sequestration of the agricultural production in Yongjia County:By looking into the carbon emission in the process of the agricultural production in the county, we hold that the limited utilization of straw, overuse of chemical fertilizer, pesticide pollution, livestock husbandry and agricultural plastic film are main factors of influencing the carbon emission in this region; while by analyzing the potential capacity of carbon sequestration, we conclude that the farmland is of great potential and the forest has significant capacity in carbon sequestration.(3) Ideas and measures for the low-carbon agriculture development in Yongjia County: by analyzing the low-carbon agriculture, we suggest that it should be developed in aspects of strengthening planning of agricultural development, constructing the technological system of the low-carbon agriculture, and enhancing the publicity and education of the low-carbon agriculture.(4) Application and measures for carbon sequestration and emission reduction of agricultural production in Yongjia County:In terms of carbon sequestration, the cultivation of agriculture and forestry for carbon sequestration resources should be reinforced. For this purpose, we should,1) raise the level of ecological forestry development in plain areas; 2) actively increase the multiple crop index and production capacity of crops; and 3) strenuously improve the soil organic substance. While in terms of emission reduction technologies, we should try best to carry out the application of the technical mode, where inputs of chemicals can be reduced and resources can be effectively utilized to realize the low-carbon agriculture. There are several technologies that applicable to the development of low-carbon agriculture in this area:scientific and reasonable fertilization technology, straw returning technology, and no-tillage technology, etc.(5) Research of the development modes of the low-carbon agriculture:According to the situation of agricultural development together with the conditions of this county, several suitable development modes have been presented:rural courtyard comprehensive utilization mode; reduction of agricultural inputs and alternative ecological mode; resource-saving mode; agricultural wastes recycle mode; and relaxation and ecological tourism mode.
