Analysis On County Economic Basic Competitiveness Of Anhui Province

As a fundamental cell of national economic system, county economy is the cornerstone of China national economy, which combines macro economy with micro economy and perfectly joins urban economy and rural economy. Since the16th CPC National Congress, the development and blossom of county economy has been the key to coordinate urban and rural development, to construct a fresh socialist countryside, and to overall build a higher-level affluent society. It is also the vital foundation of national economy development.In recent years, the blossom of Anhui county economy which has exceeded the average has resulted in an obvious enhancement of comprehensive strength and made it a powerful support for the rising of Anhui economy. On such social backgrounds and macro-conditions, a rich realistic and era significance lies in the analysis of current Anhui county economy development and competitiveness, and also lies in the further development and growth.An overview of basic conception and character of county economy will be first carried out in this report, along with some other research achievements. Then it will be the summaries of current achievements and problems of Anhui county economy.The empirical part will be parted into two, which separately uses the methods of factor analysis and fussy cluster analysis. In the first segment, the principal economic indicators of62counties of Anhui will be put into factor analysis so that common factors which affect county economy development will be found, and then an evaluation on Anhui county economy competitiveness will be marched based on the sorted factor scores. While in the second segment, fussy cluster analysis based on FCM will be used to classify62counties of Anhui into4categories on the dimensions of gross and speed, after that it will be evaluation of each category. In the final, some related policy advices on improving future development and enhancing competitiveness of Anhui county economy are likely to be proposed, based on the summaries of former contrastive and empirical analysis.
