Evaluation Of The Basic Economic Competitiveness Of County Economy In Lu'an City, Anhui Province Based On Factor Analysis

The development of county economy is the key to building a higher level of well-off society in an all-round way and the core for the urban development as well as the construction of new socialist rural areas.It is not only an important power for regional economic development,but the major factor of the whole national economy development.Since the reform and opening,Lu An has taken the rapid development of economic construction.However,from the aspects of economy and the development level,Lu An economy is still lagged behind other areas in Anhui province.Anhui county classification assessment in 2012 measured 62 counties and cities in Anhui,in accordance with the economic development,structural adjustment,resources and environment and people's livelihood,etc.Each county in Anhui province can be divided into four classes.Lu An counties are in the third and forth class.Scientific evaluation,analysis for Lu An county economic competitiveness,and further research in Lu An fundamental problems that exist in the process of sustainable development is the important premise to realize coordination and balance regarding Lu An economic development.In this paper,we firstly summarize the study for the basic concept and characteristics of county economy,then summarize present situation of Lu An county economy development and the results of development.At last,we can conclude the problems in developing.In this paper,we will be using the factor analysis method to analyze the basis of Lu An county economy competitiveness,exploring 8 counties 'main economic and social indicators to conclude that the public factors which affects the level of county economy development.Through the relevant statistical analysis method calculating the comprehensive factor score and sorting them,we can estimate the Lu An's county economy competitiveness.Based on the factor analysis method of comprehensive evaluation score,eight counties(area)can be divided into three categories.Finally we summarize the results of empirical analysis,in order to put forward the suggestion for how to improve competitive level and the future development of county economy for each kind of county(district).
