Study On The Comprehensive Evaluation Of Supporting Capacity Of Equipment Manufacturing Industry In Shenyang

Equipment manufacturing, as a basic industry of national economy, is a key sector related to national economic security and national defense, and also a strategic pillar industry playing an important role for the healthy development and technological progress of national economy, and the technology level of which directly affect the competitiveness of other industries. The comprehensive evaluation of supporting capacity of equipment manufacturing is based on industrial clusters theory, the industrial chain theory and the comprehensive evaluation theory and is combined with its own characteristics of the equipment manufacturing industry in Shenyang. It has an important strategic significance for strengthening the supporting capacity and enhancing the core competitiveness of the equipment manufacturing industry in Shenyang.Based on the comprehensive analysis of the results of domestic and foreign scholars’research on the equipment manufacturing, industry clusters, supporting capabilities, and comprehensive evaluation, this paper focused on the main line of enhancing the supporting capacity of equipment manufacturing in Shenyang, reviewed the related theories of the supporting capacity of the equipment manufacturing industry from the system point of view, which clarified the theoretical origins and characteristics of the supporting capacity of equipment manufacturing industry and on this basis defined the meaning of supporting capacity of equipment manufacturing industry. By analyzing the situation of the supporting capacity of equipment manufacturing industry in Shenyang, this paper pointed out the problems and their causes of the equipment manufacturing’s supporting in Shenyang, and on this basis, built the evaluation index system and the evaluation model of the supporting capacity of the equipment manufacturing industry in Shenyang. Finally, the dynamic comprehensive evaluation of the equipment manufacturing industry’s supporting capacities of15provincial-level and sub-provincial cities that made equipment manufacturing as their leading industry, determined the status of Shenyang Equipment Manufacturing’s supporting capacity all over the country. And this paper provided policy recommendations for enhancing the supporting capacity of Shenyang equipment manufacturing, and thus provided scientific methods and new ideas for evaluation of the supporting capacity of Shenyang’s equipment manufacturing industry.
