Current Status And Evaluation Of The Equipment Manufacturing Industry

Equipment manufacturing industry covers a wide range, it has high-tech, long industrial chain, strong radiation capacity and other characteristics. It is the strategic industry which provides kinds of technical equipment for the national defense construction and economic development, it is the core of the industrial development.and manufacturing sector, but also the basis of the national economy. Establishing a strong equipment manufacturing industry is the fundamental guarantee for improving China’s comprehensive national strength and industrialization. The equipment manufacturing industry is in a critical period of vigorous development, so the correct analysis of it and giving corresponding suggestions for developing the existing problems is particularly important.This paper is from Anhui soft science research project "Research on The Development Trend and Path of High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industries in Anhui ", through previous studies and reviewed the relevant literature, this paper builds a evaluation system of the equipment manufacturing industry and then evaluate the current development of the equipment manufacturing industry in Anhui. By making full use of the data abstracted from Anhui Statistic Yearbook and the third national economic census, this article conducts a comprehensive analysis of the equipment manufacturing industry in Anhui and finds the problem in it. Meanwhile, when analyzing the external environment of the equipment manufacturing industry, this paper opted SWOT analysis model. Analyzing the external environment by showing its advantages, its weaknesses, opportunities and challenges. In response to the questions, this paper also puts forward some corresponding countermeasures.
