A Evaluation Study On Technological Innovation Capacity Shaanxi Equipment Manufacturing Industry

Technological innovation is the core power and the important reason leading to thedifference of industrial development level for a country or all region. It not only improves thequality of existing products, but also introduced new products and new technology, radicalinnovations even created new industries. Facing the economic globalization,Shaanxiprovincial equipment manufacturing is enduring the austere challenge As the typical industryof technological concentrating,technological innovation capability becomes more and moreimportant in the equipment manufacturing. It will do have vitally realistic meaning to helpShaanxi equipment manufacturing enhance technological innovation capability as well as tocomprehensively improve the competitive ability and survival ability.This article is based in Shaanxi equipment manufacturing industry developmentstatus,especially concerning the technology innovation development status,and makes anempirical analysis and evaluation on technological innovation capability of Shaanxiequipment manufacturing industry. First, on consulting plenty of domestic and foreignliterature, this paper summarizes the ideas of the technological innovation and technologicalinnovation capability. Secondly, considering the influencing factors, technological innovationmechanism of equipment manufacturing industry and availability of data,the article select10statistical indicators in four spheres including technological innovation resource investmentcapacity,technological innovation conversion capacity,technological innovation outputcapacity and technological innovation guarantee capacity to build the equipmentmanufacturing industry technological innovation ability evaluation index system. On thebasis of this, the paper select the related statistical indicators data of Shaanxi Province andnational average in five years from2006-2010as sample,then select the data of ten developedprovinces in2009compared with Shaanxi province,it carries on the principal componentanalysis on the influence factors of four aspects.By contrast on both vertical and horizontal，itfinds the progress and problems of technological innovation capacity of Shaanxi equipmentmanufacturing industry.Finally,according to empirical results and the present problems inShaanxi equipment manufacturing industry,it proposes the countermeasures enhancing the technological innovation capability of Shaanxi equipment manufacturing industry.
