Since China’s reform and opening up, China’s export trade promote the rapideconomic development and has brought the serious problems of environmentalpollution at the same time. China had the most people whose per capita water resourcesis serious shortage.what’s more, China’s current industrial water pollution is serious.. Inview of the above it is particularly important to analysis the relationship betweenChina’s export trade and water pollution for harmonious development of them.There is no consistent conclusion about trade and environment.This paper usesprovincial panel data from1997to2011,introduction the U-shaped EKC modelequation and N-shaped equation, using the spatial dynamic panel data model analysisChina’s export trade influence on water pollution.The research results indicate that the different research methods and model settingwill directly or indirectly affect the relationship between China’s export trade and waterpollution. First of all, export trade have significant influence on the water pollutionwhich is the same conclusion for all model. Secondly, compared with U equation ofordinary panel model and spatial dynamic panel model, we found that ordinary panelfailed to pass the significance test model about the variables, the spatial dynamic paneldata model nonconform to the theory of EKC. Compared with N equation of ordinarypanel model and spatial dynamic panel model, we found that the coefficient ofexplanation and explained variables is negative. According to the general principle ofoutput method, industrial wastewater emissions produced by both domestic industrialproduction and industrial exports, so the coefficient between industrial wastewaterand domestic industrial production should be a positive number less than1. There is notany research significance about the N equation of ordinary panel model. Space dynamicpanel data model to estimate conforms to China’s export of n-type relationship betweentrade and environment. In this paper, using the same data, the different research modelsbetween China’s export trade and the environment the relationship between the twokinds of different. According to the empirical conclusion, put forward the correspondingto promote export trade development and environmental protection policy Suggestions.Space dynamic panel data model conforms the N-type relationship between trade andenvironment. This paper using the same data, different model have the two differentkinds of relationship between trade and environment. However, the export trade willinevitably lead to water pollution problems in the process of development.According to the empirical conclusion; put forward the corresponding policy recommendations topromote export trade and environmental protection.
