Research On The Evaluation Index System Of Single Paper

This paper analyzes the research at home and abroad, finding that the study of single scientific paper’s evaluation is very little. However, the evaluation of single scientific paper is significant to help evaluate scientific performance objectively, roundly and systematically. What’s more, the traditional evaluation systems have much insufficient, such as lack of the focus on the paper itself. In addition, the current academic development puts forward new requirements for the single scientific paper evaluation. So the research on the evaluation index system of single paper is very necessary.Firstly, this paper analyzes the factors which can impact the quality of papers. The factors include the external factors such as journal, citation, etc., and the internal factors such as collaboration size, reference, etc. As the external and internal factors have many flaws and interference factors, this research does some correction work to design the external and internal indexes. What’s more, this paper studies the correlation between the indexes above. Secondly, this research applies mapping knowledge domain and social network analysis to evaluate the paper visually, and put forward network indexes like degrees of the paper and so on.Finally, this research constitutes the applicable evaluating system that integrates all the indexes above, and tests the system with examples. As there is much limitation of the evaluation index system, this paper put forward some outlook.
