A Study On Social Benefit: Theory, Index System And Methodology

Confronted with the new era, it is the key issue for China to build up the socialist harmonious society, which should be the democratic government by law, the fair justice, the good faith friendly affection, full of the energy, the stability, harmonious between human and nature is together. In view of its importance, social benefit is vital for the enterprise as well as economic benefit. So the social benefit evaluation is considered to be an issue to solve. In most studies at present it is an interesting domain and further research is demanded. This dissertation is a try to discuss the social benefit and it concentrates on the theoretic analysis. The main innovations accomplished in this dissertation can be summed up as the following aspects:1. The definition of the social benefit. Social benefit is the influence of an activity on society. The main topic is to choose index to evaluate social benefit accurately.2. Base on the scientific outlook on development, a general index system is constructed. It is true for different activities to utilize different index systems. Here the general system is consist of six parts, including the degree to satisfy "people oriented", the degree to satisfy "comprehensive", the degree to satisfy "sustainable", and impact on the social economic, natural resource, and ecology systems.3. The model methods are adopted to measure the index. It is important to choose apt method in different situation.4. The index system of environmental protection is set up in this dissertation as empirical study.
