| Logistics industry as the basic industry of national economy, is known as theaccelerator of economic growth, and its development level is an important indicatorof the national or regional modernization and comprehensive national strength. Inrecent years, with the development of electronic commerce, the logistics industry hasset off another waves of development in the global world, and logistics industry hasnot only provided a new profit growth area for the enterprise but also provide a newgrowth point for regional economic development. Enhancing the competitiveness ofregional logistics has become the consensus of everyone, various regions have alsoraised a hot wave of the construction of the logistics. But in the process ofconstruction, some areas have appeared in the blind planning, redundant constructionand practical, and a series of problems, even affect the healthy development of theregional logistics industry. Therefore, the scientific evaluation on the regionallogistics competitiveness is of great significance.This article is based on Porter’s diamond model and combined with relevanttheoretical results at home and abroad to research on the regional logistics industrycompetitiveness evaluation. The construction of evaluation index system as the corework, this paper which is based on Porter’s diamond model concludes six factors tothe competitiveness of the regional logistics industry. The six factors are logisticsindustry production factor, demand factor, the structure of the logistics enterprisestrategic factors, related and supporting industries factors, government factors andinformation level. On this basis, combining with the theory of internationalcompetitiveness model to construct the regional logistics industry competitivenessevaluation index system, index system of regional logistics industry competitivenesscan be divided into three modules: the regional logistics industry competitiveness,environmental competitiveness, regional logistics industry potential regional logisticsindustry competitiveness. In addition, in this process, considering informationoverlap which come from too many index, this article filters some index by expert consulting-membership, discrimination analysis, correlation analysis.At the same time, this article selects31districts as research samples whichempirical data is obtained by means of query provincial statistical yearbook. Thispaper use factor analysis approach, clustering approach and SPSS statistical softwarefor quantitative analysis of indicator variables, concluding the provincial regionallogistics industry competitiveness rankings and classifying the provincial regionallogistics industry development status. Through this analysis, this article identify theprovincial regional logistics industry development bottlenecks and proposerecommendations to enhance the level of competitiveness of regional logistics, inorder to provide a reference value for the development of the regional logisticsplanning. |
