Not only the asia-pacific region is the world’s economic development and energy consumption, but also is the highest in shale gas reserves, the American "shale gas revolution" to the asia-pacific region "spillover effect" of energy and technology, That not only has theoretical value, also has a practical significance.This article study the development history of shale gas as unconventional gas energy, development of technology, and environmental impact assessment on the basis of the research is divided into three aspects the shale gas revolution’s influence on the asia-pacific energy. The second part analyzes the characteristics and the trend of economy and energy development in the asia-pacific region, pointed out that the asia-pacific as the most active areas in the world economy, it has the rapid growth of energy demand, and are also facing the objective requirement of low carbon energy transformation, the United States "shale gas revolution" give the power to the asia-pacific development, on the one hand, the unconventional natural gas production will increase sharply, can increase the proportion of clean energy, on the other hand, the U.S. shale gas development technology and experience for the asia-pacific countries to accelerate the development of shale gas. The third part analyzed the natural gas consumption in China, Japan, South Korea’s economic development and the characteristics of energy consumption, having a research on the American "shale gas revolution" to the effects of east Asian countries.
