Research On Energy Returns On Investment Of Shale Gas Development In Sichuan Weiyuan Block

In the current,the degree of external dependence of energy still remains high in our country.As an important complement of energy resources,the strategic significance of shale gas development has been highlighted,which determines that we can't merely use the cash flow,net income and other methods to measure the development of shale gas in currencies,but also should evaluate the shale gas development in the angle that the output of net energy which service for social development.In this paper,it used EROI method and choosed one of the typical blocks in China – Weiyuan block as the object to evaluate the shale gas development from the perspective of net energy.Based on the production status and related data of more than 30 Wells in Weiyuan block and according to the main process of shale gas development,it etimated the major resources that used in each phase.On this basis,according to the type of energy input,it used industrial energy conversion method and I-O method to calculate energy,and then summarized the energy input of shale gas development in Weiyuan block.To quantitative research on damage to the environment of the shale gas development and its impact on EROI,energy input of carbon emissions,nitrogen oxide emissions and water pollution was put into the calculation of total energy.After getting EROI,analyzed the calculation method,energy input and basis of output scene settings and their impact on the calculation results in present study,and combined with EROI level to evaluate shale gas development in Weiyuan block.Respectively calculated energy input and the proportion ratio in total energy input of every process of shale gas development,then specifically analyzed circumstances of energy input of shale gas development in Weiyuan block.Compared with foreign major blocks to analyze the input level,then did sensitivity analysis on major energy input factors.According to results of this study,combined with the status of the shale gas development,made several suggestions on shale gas development of our country.
