The Adjustment Of Industrial Structure In Northwest Area Effects Of Economic Development

In recent years the country further attention to the status of the western region, thepreferential policies introduced gradually, Xinjiang Kashi Special Economic Zone, Lanzhou NewDistrict has established national district. The western regions have developed rapidly, a substantialincrease in the total economy, improving people’s livelihood. The five northwestern provinces is inthe key period of accelerating economic development, narrowing the gap with the eastern coastalareas. However, the northwest development foundation is very weak, is one of the most backwardarea of economic development in china. In the economic growth at the same time, somedeep-seated contradictions and problems have gradually emerged, such as the gap between richand poor increasing, area development is not balanced, serious destruction of ecologicalenvironment etc. The development of economy and the evolution of industrial structure alwaysmutually auxiliary lining. Study on the change of industrial structure, analyzed the currentsituation of industrial structure and the influence on the future economic development, realize thesustainable development of the industrial structure optimization and the social economy naturallybecome the focus of economic work. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the industrial structure isin accordance with the requirements of economic development, improve the competitiveness ofthe industry and optimize the industrial structure, to realize the great leap forward development.In this paper, the industrial structure and economic development as the starting point, analysison the integrated use of econometric models, the shift share analysis, ArcGIS system and space,since2007, the northwest regional economic development and industrial structure of the data asthe foundation, analyzes the industrial structure rationalization and problems, economicconvergence and the industrial structure deviation share.Firstly, the theoretical connotation of the industrial structure rationalization and starting withthe analysis, select the appropriate evaluation methods feasible for western industrial structurerationalization and level. The results show that: there has been a marked improvement in the levelof rationalization of industrial structure in the research stage in Northwest region. However,reasonable level around the city are located in1the following, namely and the gap compared withstandard structure. The regional industrial structure upgrade tendency basic consistent, areevolving to a higher level. The relative transfer effect between different regions of the gapbetween the obvious, especially there is significant difference among the second industrialupgrading to the strength of the tertiary industry, which also determines the height of industrialstructure between different regions of the gap.Secondly, from the beginning of the neoclassical economic convergence hypothesis, byexamining the northwest area per capita GDP convergence and convergence, and the spatial lagfactors into the analysis model, analysis of the current stage of economic development.Convergence and convergence test were established, the difference between the northwest regionand time interval is shrinking, and the effect of geographic factors on economic convergence ofnorthwest area is very obvious.Thirdly, share analysis and comparative analysis of the provincial and municipal levelvariations from application. Study found that the development of industrial structure in thenorthwest to the national economy to promote the role of weak, further adjust the demand andspace. Index of each provinces structure effect is low, no industrial structure advantage. Andspatial aggregation effect is not significant, GDP showed high high aggregation of the county (city)the ratio is not high, has not formed the centralized advantage in developed areas, inter regionalcooperation needs to be strengthened.Finally, according to the results of empirical analysis, put forward the countermeasure andsuggestion.
