By taking advantage of agricultural resources, the agricultural industrialization process of the Corps is developing rapidly. So far, the Corps has not only formed a large-scale cotton, pear, dates, tomatoes, peppers, beets, horses, deer and other characteristics of agricultural base, but also completed a regional distribution, scale operations of leading industry. The Corps also cultivated a group of leading enterprises which possess closely related industries, economic strength and strong ability in market development and driven. Arounding the characteristics of agricultural production, processing, and marketing has become an important way to finish the structural adjustment of agricultural industrialization. And they promote economic development for the Corps.Tomato industry in the Corps is currently one of the most export earning capacity of the industry. The development of the tomato industry in the Corps plays a huge role in the promoting economic development. It is also accelerating industrial restructuring, especially in driving farmers to get rich. Currently, it is a critical period for the Corps strategic restructuring of agriculture and agricultural economic structure. It is important practical significance to transform tomato industry of the Corps to become another pillar industry following cotton industry as fast as possible. In recent years, the tomato industry of the Corps has rapidly developed, but ketchup export production significantly reduced as tomato industry was affected by the international situation. According to statistics, tomato sauce production was423,900tons in2012.Tomato sauce production at five leading companies,COFCO Tuen River, Chalkis, Hao Han Group, Tianye Group, Guannong, was only237,400tons. Compared with last year, the production five companies reduces the322,600tons, accounting for only56%of total production. There are a number of reasons to contribute the tomato industry of the Corps downturn. The main reasons include serious excess capacity, excessive dependence on international markets, single product variety, low added value, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to study in depth the tomato industry, and optimize the industrial structure. Only this way, can we use of resource superiority in tomato industry of the Corps. And the tomato industry will become truly competitive industries.Firstly, this paper analyzed the current situation of the Xinjiang Corps tomato industry, and found out the existing problems in the planting, processing, saling,in the tomato industry chain links. Secondly, based on field research data, this article analyzed the value-added chain of the Corps tomato industry, and indentify the key points of the constructing in Corps tomato industry chain. On this basis, this paper proposed the direction of the tomato industry chain construction, namely, the industrial chain extending longitudinally and the product chain expanding laterally. Once more, based on the above analysis, the institutional mechanism of the Corps industry chain construction was designed. Mainly includes the following several aspects:improving the mechanism of benefit guarantee, established the credit risk prevention mechanism, improving the agriculture insurance system, established risk fund system, and taken on new functions of the tomato industry chain participation main body. These are the basis for the healthy development of the Corps tomato industry. Finally, aiming at the existing problem of the Corps tomato industry, this paper put forward practical suggestions from the each link, in order to promote the healthy development of the Corps tomato industry. |
