As a classic model describing the evaluation of ecological systems, life circle model has been widely used in the evaluation of networked manufacture. Life circle model provides a four-stage evaluation model in the study on networked manufacture. However because of the complexity features of networked manufacture, the simple four-stage life circle evaluation model cannot completely cover all the evaluation conditions and thus shows limitation.Based on the analysis of two basic research perspectives of networked manufacture life circle evaluation model, the limitations of life circle model are found, which is that the life circle model does not have the Ontological feature in terms of describing the networked manufacture evaluation issue. The author later on analyzed the complexities of networked manufacture and found that there are seven basic complexity features. Then, a model which fits the complexity features of networked manufacture has been found based on both the analysis of applicability of complex system describing the evaluation of networked manufacture and the comparison of the fittingness between several meta-models of complex system and networked manufacture. Later on, the adaptive circle evaluation model of networked manufacture has been established based on all the previous analysis. The adaptive circle model has been modified based on the facts of the interactions between the networked manufacture and its outside environment. In this way, the adaptive circle model could conform the reality more. Last, several conclusions and suggestions are given both theoretically and practically. The adaptive circle evaluation model of networked manufacture is a supplement and modification of life circle evaluation model. besides, it also provides a new method tool and perspective for the future research in this field.
