Investigation For The Improvement Of Supply Chain Management In CA Company

Under the circumstance of economic globalization, the market for commodities and production elements have been internationalized, therefore, economic activities tend to allocate resources globally to maximize the profit. By the end of1980s and in the early years of1990s, as the reform and open-door policy, specifically processing trade policy put into effect in China, the foreign invested processing enterprises began to grow rapidly. Meanwhile, many advanced operation methods and philosophies have been introduced to China, of which"supply chain management"(SCM) have been highly valued by the operation managers and repeatedly practiced in the daily operation, accordingly, research in this field has been very popular. Since the year2007, as the global economic went downwards, the processing trade industry in China has been undertaking a series of changes which would definitely result in new problems, therefore, the supply chain which covering material flow, capital flow and information flow would face new challenges. Therefore, study in this field for a reasonable solution is quite necessary. The author chose her working company’CANSON’---a French-invested trade processing enterprise---as a study case. With the reference of academic advanced theories and research findings of SCM, the author focused on the SCM problems faced by this company ever since the year2007and put forward feasible solutions, furthermore, by focusing on the SCM problems faced by most processing trade enterprises during the industrial transformation, covering entire order delivery rate, on-time delivery rate and lead time. The author analyzes the reasons and tried to find out the more universal improvement solutions.
