Study On The Present Situation And Development Countermeasures Of Pepper Industry In Yong’an

Yong’an yellow pepper and Yong’an chicken claw pepper are unique and advantage vegetables in Yong’an city, the development of pepper industry in Yong’an city is significant on promoting rural economic development, increasing farmers income, and improving enterprise profit. However, Yong’an related geographical indication protection as the core, the pepper industry as a characteristic for the development of vegetable industry in the process, still faces several shortages, such as lack of funds, poor brand awareness, geographical indication protection utilization rate is low. In this thesis, through the combination of documentary analysis and field investigation, case study and case analysis research method of combining, using the data of domestic and foreign related research as the guide, by studying Yong’an city pepper industry development condition and the present situation, analysis of Yong’an city pepper industry advantages and problems, ultimate goal is to draw lessons from the successful experience of other region characteristic vegetable industry, targeted put forward development countermeasure of yongan pepper industry, such as cultivate leading enterprises, the development of facilities agriculture, promote the brand construction, promote the development of geographical indication protection application, develop processing industry of pepper, for Yong’an city provide certain theoretical basis for the sustainable development of the pepper industry and measures for its implementation.
