Research On Agricultural Products Safety Traceability System Construction

In recent years, there has been quite a number of quality and safety incidentsof agricultural products, which not only poses a threat to the health and safety ofthe public, but also brings about the crisis of confidence and even jeopardizessocial stability. As a matter of fact, with the division of work from manufacture tosales, it has become increasingly difficult to gather product information. So as toguarantee quality and safety, a traceability system which helps oversee the wholeprocess, literally from farmland to kitchen, has to be established with urgentpriority, and such system shall facilitate the safety management by offeringconvenient access to the inquiry of manufacture, storage, and logistics. In thispaper, the writer would like to share the point of view regarding the establishmentof such system:The first section is based on the reference and summary of the existingachievements, pointing out the components, functions, and key technologies ofsuch system, moreover, this paper is trying to figure out the inspirations we canget from developed countries by analyzing the current application status out there.The second part is the discussion about the status question of China’sagricultural products supply chain, through the deep study of existingorganizational models and supply chain, the writer attempts to unveil the problemsarisen within the system and puts forward suggestions on improving the systemconstruction, thus consequently encourages the enterprises to cooperate with thegovernment in propelling the implementation of the regime.At last this paper elaborates the supporting measures and policies fromvarious aspects, including perfecting laws and regulations, increasing theinvestment in traceability infrastructures, fostering the awareness of consumerrights, building service system and personnel training etc.
