Analysis On The Difference Of The Quality Of The Cultivated Land In Altay City, Xinjiang

With the development of economy and growth of the population, the cultivated land,laying as the material basis for the survival and development of human beings, contradictsprominently with people’s ever growing productive and living needs. As cultivated lands arethe basic ingredients of agricultural production, it is of great importance to enhance the qualityconstruction and comprehensive productivity of cultivated lands to ensure the sustainabledevelopment of social economy, national food security as well as the safety of land resources.The thesis conducts the significant difference analysis of the natural elements in terms of thecultivated land quality of2012from each town of Altay City. By adopting different clusteringmethods of MATLAB, the thesis analyses the data of the cultivated land quality and finallychooses the proper clustering method that goes well with quality distribution of the land in eacharea. The reason that causes the difference in land quality of each town is analyzed andaccording to it, relevant advice is proposed to improve the land quality of each town.Through the quality study of the cultivated land, figuring out the location, range andcoverage of the cultivated land in Altay and grasping the quantity, quality and distribution ofthe cultivated land, the thesis aims to lay a solid basis to serve as guidance for cultivated landprotection, to help the government to make right decisions in the realization of social service oninformation of land resources and finally to meet the needs of the economy, social developmentand the management of the national land resources.
