The Research Of Mao Ze-dong Science And Technology Strategic Thought

In the transformation of the new democratic to a socialist and the process of overallsocialist construction, the first generation of the collective leadership of the Communist Partyof China with Mao Zedong as the core undertook the hard exploration to the development ofscience and technology and put forward a series of important views and opinions of specificnational conditions and differing from other countries, formed Mao Zedong science andtechnology strategy thought. Mao Zedong science and technology strategic thought is notonly rich in content, but also provides valuable reference about recovery and development ofscience and technology for the new Chinese, continuing to improve and perfect science andtechnology system in our country in the new era, the full implementation of the strategy ofrejuvenating the country, and the practice of Scientific Outlook on Development.However, current domestic and international academic research on Mao Zedong scienceand technology strategic thought is not systematic and deep enough, some research results areonly confined to some journals. Mao Zedong science and technology strategic thought is aproduct of the thought of science and technology of Marxism with China concrete and realitycombining together, is summary of experience of long science and technology practice ofChinese people, this research can enrich and deepen the Chinese ideological system ofscience and technology thought of Marxism. This thesis tries to unfolds Mao Zedong scienceand technology strategic thought’s entire ideological system systematically andcomprehensively, in order to provide theoretical foundation for related research and atheoretical reference for actual the development of science and technology.This paper is divided into five chapters：The first chapter discusses the researchbackground and significance of Mao Zedong science and technology strategy thought, combsthe research status at home and abroad, and introduces the research method andinnovation.The second chapter begins with Mao Zedong science and technology strategicthought of the social and theoretical background, clarifies the forming process of this thought,analyses the thought’s theoretical origin that is the science and technology thought ofMarxism.The third chapter describes the theory frame, the main contents and practice of MaoZedong science and technology strategic thought. The theoretical basis of Mao Zedongscience and technology strategic thought is the exposition of Mao Zedong on the nature,function and the law of development of science and technology; the theory of the core is the"catch up" strategic thinking; peripheral theoretical support is the strategic thought of"technology revolution".
