The Research On Democratizations Of Contemporary Science And Technology

Democratization of contemporary science and technology refers to the viewpoint since from science, technology and society(STS) in the middle of last century,and in the science and technology activities, advocating the development of science and technology consultation model to promote the rational of experts and the public’s self-reflection and learn from each other, beyond the two polarization negative cycle and then establish a more complete benign interaction in the interactive value system and social identity.With the rapid development of science and technology era, sand technology and social relationship increasingly close and complicated, at the same time science and technology play an positive role,but its negetive effect is appearing day by day, so the democratization of science and technology become an important issue of contemporary problem.To explore the problem of the development of science and technology democratization in the process of contemporary human society,which are good for healthy development of science and technology,the public accomplishment of science and technology promotion,carry forward the contemporary scientific spirit and the realization of the scientific target in the processof social democratization road.This paper consists of five chapters.First chapter, put forward the main problem about the research of contemporary science and technology of democratization clearly,and related literature in domestic and foreign were reviewed with commentst to talk about the research perspectives and methods and tries to illustrate this article’s characteristics and innovation.The second chapter, from the change in their own activities of science and technology, the transformation of social governance and the brief analysis of three aspects such as cultural evolution theory background of contemporary science and technology democratization.Through the peace movement and environmental movement and the human rights campaign lively social movement to clarify democratization has continually pressing practical demand in science and technology, depicting the ever-changing network media for the democratization of science and technology to provide strong and unique culture of technical support.The third chapter, the contemporary science and technology of the historical process of the democratization in installment, roughly divided into the contemporary science andtechnology of democratization "infancy"(50-70 s of the 20 th century), "forming"(in the 1980 s- 2000) and "development stage"(2000-), other three stages and analyzed the historical content.Further from the fourth chapter, ecology, ethics, culture, and new media, such as four horizon of contemporary democratization multidimensional study on science and technology, it is concluded that contemporary science and technology, there are five basic concept: democratization in the scope of our democracy, advocate the concept of mass democracy;On the value pursuit, advocating humanistic notion of democracy;At the right level, advocate equality democratic ideals;On the way means, advocate to participate in democratic ideals;On the scale of democracy, advocating global democratic ideals.The fifth chapter, on the basis above analysis and research, to contemporary democracy into the overall evaluation of science and technology, summarizing its positive role at the same time analyze the three dilemmas facing the feasibility and find out the way.The fundamental way out is to construct the development of science and technology consultation model.
