With global warming posing grim challenge on human survival development, people have more and more clearly aware of the increased carbon dioxide emissions will cause serious threat for the whole of mankind, while construction industry is carbon dioxide emitters, how to promote the construction industry of its low carbon development has become a research hotspot. in the word today. Low carbon building began to the attention of the people under such background. Setting a feasible analysis and evaluation method for the low carbon building will promote low carbon building development, which has the important theory and the practical significance. In recent years, domestic and foreign experts have been studied a lot about the low carbon building, but the analysis of economy, society and environment, several aspects from a cost-benefit perspective is still relatively small, while consider little in the cost-effectiveness factors in thus evaluation. The content of this thesis is focusing on the promotion of low carbon building development this one theme, analyzing mainly from the aspect of cost of the low carbon buildings, and doing evaluation research.The thesis, firstly, on the basis of collecting a large number of documents of the low carbon buildings, sums up the domestic and international research status and relevant theory, through the contrast among the green building, energy-saving construction and architectural form, highlights the low carbon characteristics of low carbon building. Then according to the characteristics of the theories of economics and cost benefit analysis, respectively, analyzes the cost and the benefit of the low carbon buildings in the qualitative and quantitative way:Considering the construction of carbon emissions and carbon emissions trading as the key factors of the cost benefit analysis of low carbon building in the quantitative calculation, analyzes and determines the life cycle cost and incremental cost of low carbon building; undertakes quantitative analysis of low carbon building benefit from the economic, social, environmental and other point, and converts its carbon emissions to corresponding currency, which have certain theoretical and practical significance on the future of China’s implementation of the measurement and valuation of carbon emissions. The paper establishes the evaluation index of low carbon buildings, and chooses low carbon as the evaluation focus, and the appraisal principle, administrative levels, the weight of index are analyzed. Due to the low carbon buildings with "gray system" characteristics, so choosing the grey clustering method to do the evaluation for low carbon building. Finally, through the low carbon building example, undertakes cost-benefit analysis and measurement, and then verify the evaluation results and the actual consistency with the use of grey clustering evaluation.Fully considers the low carbon characteristics of low carbon building during cost benefit analysis and evaluation, accounting all carbon emissions and other factors, no matter in the quantitative analysis or in the final grey evaluation, has important theoretical significance and reference value to the development of construction industry in China and to build a low-carbon society.
