When the concept of residential industrialization was put forward, its concept and advantage had been gradually revealed. Currently, one third of global carbon emission is associated with the construction industry and building construction stage emits the largest amount of carbon. Thus, it is meaningful to study the carbon emission during the construction one third of global carbon emission is associated with the construction industry; especially its building construction stage emits the largest amount of carbon. This paper consists of five parts.Part one is introduction, mainly to demonstrate the research background, purpose, significance, the methods and innovation points of domestic and broad's studies to form the framework and thoughts of this paper. The second part is to state the residential industrialization and low carbon effect's relating theories. It includes characteristics and developments of the residential industrialization, construction mode and measurement comparisons of low carbon emission effect during the construction period and relevant theories of low carbon effect concept and measurement index. The third section will start from the basic formula of the carbon emission factor method to clarify the emphasis is the selection of live data and carbon emission factors.Firstly, to clarify the accounting scope and the unit process: oil consumption during fuel materials transportation; electricity, oil and coal consumption by construction machineries; electricity, water consumption happened during onsite construction management and waste discharge process. Secondly, to use the corresponding carbon emission factors to represent the materials, craft and energy consumption and the fundamental data relating to each process to finally come up with live energy consumption data through mathematical formula calculation. The fourth part is empirical analysis through an internship in an estate company. Selecting two buildings with same style, similar building areas but one is hosing industrarializtion residence and the other is the traditional cast- in-site residence. Comparing these two's budgets, construction listings and basis of the bidding documents and other data access and analysis to accurate their corresponding live energy consumption data, including electricity, oil, coal and waster consumption. Calculating the actual results and then giving a comprehensive comparative analysis of the results are followed. The fifth part is a comprehensive summary of this whole paper followed by the conclusion and shortage.
