As people have much clearer recognition of the importance of knowledge in the enterprise, the knowledge-based core competence theory has gradually replaced the resource-based core competence theory as the mainstream of research. From the knowledge perspective, it is represented as knowledge capacity and the transferring and innovating ability of knowledge, and the coordination of which has become the sources of enterprise to keep its competency edge. However, many enterprises when coalition only stayed at the primary stage of coordination rather than truly realized the synergy effect and some did not coordinate based on decision made by maximum benefit and minimum lose, so that the alliance cannot be established and even broke up in the middle of operation.It is figured out that, reasons like the confliction between the demands of knowledge transfer and knowledge share within knowledge subjects and the exclusion and protection of knowledge rights, the balance between common knowledge share in alliance and knowledge protection in person, and the irrationality between alliance contribution evaluation and compensation mechanism all matter the coordination between knowledge subjects. Therefore, scholars are getting to pay attention to the non-technique factors, especially the function of motivation. This paper studies on motivation from the synergy perspective, further the relative concepts of incentive synergy.The incentive synergy of knowledge alliances is to achieve the synergy effect and the maximum performance by analyzing the behavior, incentive and interest of each knowledge subject collaborate incentives of each knowledge subject and designing a reasonable and fair motivation scheme. But how to study on the mechanism of incentive synergy effect needs to analyze the development process of incentive synergy. Incentive synergy is a dynamic and periodic process. By analyzing influence factors and developing process of incentive synergy, this paper introduces maturity model in terms of maturity level, life cycle of knowledge alliance and the evaluation system of incentive synergy maturity index and provides a method for evaluation the incentive synergy maturity. It is a grad-ascending systematic structure, which can provide explicit improved incentive methods for knowledge subjects of knowledge alliances, by comparing the similarities and differences between the status quo and the model of incentive synergy in knowledge alliances. Eventually, purposes of innovating knowledge and improving performance can be effectively realized, which has important theoretical significances and practical values to research on incentive aspects of knowledge alliances.
