Study On The Effect Of Incentive Synergy Elements On Knowledge Alliance Innovation Performance

Nowadays,innovation has become the key factor leading the global development.Enterprises are in constant pursuit of innovation in order not to be eliminated by the market.To improve innovation performance,many enterprises form knowledge alliance with other enterprises achieving complementary knowledge to improve innovation performace.Under this background,this paper explores the influence of incentive synergy elements(explicit incentive,implicit incentive,activite incentive and emerged incentive)on knowledge alliance innovation performance to provide a reference for the alliance members to develop effective incentive mechanism to improve the alliance performance.In this paper is based on the theory of motivation and knowledge sharing,intented to explore the influence of incentive synergy elements on knowledge alliance innovation performance.Based on the review to the domestic and foreign research results,this paper explores the incentive synergy elements which have influence on the innovation performance of knowledge alliance.This paper introduced knowledge sharing of different knowledge subject levels as an intermediary variable,and then puts forward the hypothesis and constructs a conceptual model.The questionnaire is collected and the reliability and validity of the questionnaire are tested according to the collected data.After confirming whether the reliability and validity meet the standard,this paper tests the hypothesis.Finally,the conclusions of this paper are as following:(1)Explicit incentive,implicit incentive,activite incentive and emerged incentive havea direct positive impact on the knowledge alliance innovation performance;explicit incentive,implicit incentive and activite incentive can promote knowledge sharing between the different levels of knowledge subject and emerged incentive can promote knowledge sharing between individuals then affect the knowledge alliance innovation performance indirectly.(2)In the process of the incentive synergy elements affecting the knowledge alliance innovation,different incentive factors have different influence on the incentive object.In the proccess of incentive synergy elements affect the knowledge alliance directly,the influence of implicit incentive is stronger than the influence of the explicit incentive,active incentive and emerged incentive.In the proccess of the incentive synergy elements affect the knowledge sharing of different subject levels,the influence of implicit incentive and active incentive is stronger than the influence of explicit incentive and emerged incentive in individual level;the influence of active incentive is stronger than the influence of explicit incentive and implicit incentive in team level;the influence of explicit incentive is stronger than the influence of implicit incentive and active incentive in organization level.The research contribution of this paper is that it enrichs and improves the study of incentice synergy elements and knowledge alliance innovation performance.The conclusions of this study can make the knowledge alliance members understand the influence of incentive synergy elements on knowledge sharing effect knowledge alliance innovation performance,helping knowledge alliance members to adopt appropriate incentives.
