With the rapid development of world economy and the continuous fast development of the economy in China, industry automation field welcomes a fast-growing phase. I&S, oil, automobile and crane, etc have stepped into a new era for development. These industrial fields have more and more demand for automation products, especially with the disadvantageous macro national policies for industrial fields, the domestic enterprises and the enterprises abroad which are providing industrial automation products sales and engineering services are facing a very broad development future. However, at this new phase of economic globalization and Chinese national economic development, many automation enterprises have challenges of important enterprise strategy issue to reorganize the enterprise structure and to adapt to the intense market competition and self-development. This is the problem which every enterprise are facing and will have to face, and also concerns its survival and development.Siemens Factory Automation Engineering Co. Ltd is the first joint venture of Siemens (Germany) Co. in the automation field in China. Shenyang branch is one of the most important branches.offers high quality numerical and driving system retrofitting, old product line renew and new automation engineering project management and implementation in China and abroad. With the development of more and more domestic automation enterprises and other big automation enterprises abroad, are facing intense market competition, and will have the arduous examination for its survival and development. Therefore, Shenyang branch need to make a long-term enterprise strategy development.This thesis regards Shenyang Branch as the research target, using modern strategy management theory and following analysis and choice of the enterprise strategy, strategy formation and appraisal, strategy execution and control, to give analysis and design for the future development of the enterprise.Firstly, the thesis gives an account to the modern strategy theory and analyze and study the formation of the strategy, the scientific procedure of strategy and the significance of strategy execution on the basis of the accurate grasp of enterprise strategy and strategy management content, and provide the following theory support for the strategy formation for the enterprise. Secondly, it systematically analyzes the the outer and inner environment of the enterprise. Through the analysis and study on the macro and environment and industry environment, the thesis unveils the opportunities and threats facing by the enterprise. And then the thesis conducts the insight analysis to the human resource management, financial management, marketing management and engineering project management, and on that basis, using SWOT method, gives a systematical summary on the opportunity and challenge, strengths and weaks so as to provides the detailed strategy management execution. Lastly, the thesis offers the strategy execution method and measures.The research result of the thesis will have important guidance to the future three years’development of the enterprise, and will provide reference to the other enterprises in automation industry on developing strategy management.
